Bundaberg Sugar Ltd is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Account Manager to manage key customer relationships across Food Service and Retail channels.
This role is responsible for driving sales performance, maintaining robust customer partnerships, and delivering consistent service outcomes. The position works closely with internal teams to ensure efficient planning, forecasting, and execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow key customer accounts across Food Service and Retail
Meet and exceed established sales KPIs
Develop and execute promotional plans and customer business reviews
Monitor service levels and coordinate with Customer Service teams
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Support new product development initiatives
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved limits
Maintain and manage trade spend across accounts
Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting
Respond to customer enquiries and complaints in line with company processes
Liaise with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery
Manage debtor accounts and follow up outstanding payments
Contribute to WHS, quality,
and environmental compliance initiatives
Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 2 years' experience in FMCG or B2B sales in a similar setting
Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Syspro or equivalent)
Commodity market exposure highly desirable
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing customer accounts
Tertiary qualification in Business or related discipline (desirable)
