About the role
Sure Projects Australia is looking for a qualified floor and wall Tiler who has sound knowledge in the installation of Tiles as well as installing angles. WALL AND FLOOR TILERS lay ceramic, clay, slate, marble and glass tiles on external and internal walls and floors to provide protective and decorative finishes.
Tasks Include:
Appropriately assessing, planning and costing of all contracts assigned by the business
Autonomously carrying out planned work in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
Inspecting potential work areas,
assessing surface conditions and suitability
Examining building plans
Ensuring surfaces are ready and prepared for tiling including removing old tiles, grout and adhesives both indoors and outdoors
Laying and setting tiles in correct positions and applying suitable adhesives onto prepares surfaces
Using correct tile cutting tools to shape tiles needed for specific jobs and surfaces
Following plans to ensure that tiles are aligned and spaced accordingly taking into consideration pipes and fittings
Grouting recent tiles once laid and ensuring that the removal of excess grout is completed to the highest quality and expectations
Waterproofing surfaces before placing tiles

Skills and experience
Minimum 1 year experience needed.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work well with others
Must hold a White Card.
