Skills and Experience:
Cooking skills and atleast 1 year of relevant work experience.
Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery.
Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting the kitchen team in maintain smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Ensure that meals are of high quality and prepared in a skilled manner.
Assist with portioning food, placing it on plates and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes.
Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required.
Baking and grilling meats-chicken, beef, lamb and making small require pieces and sizes using the freeze technique.
Baking and grilling of meats following proper recipes.
Washing and cutting of various kinds of vegetables and meats preparing a variety of appetizer, cuisines and salads.
Regulates temperature of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment's.
Filling the temperature sheet.
Keeping work area clean and tidy.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
