We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to join our team at Journey Community Connections Coffs Harbour and Grafton NSW, this is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule and commitments.
What you'll be doing
Providing personalised support and assistance to clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social engagement
Helping clients access community resources and participate in recreational activities
Advocating for client needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements to maintain a safe and compliant service setting
Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our services through feedback and innovation
What we're looking for
Certificate 3 Individual Support qualifications or Higher Desirable 3+ Years experience in the aged care, disability support sector.
A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
Problem-solving skills and the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of our clients
First Aid/CPR
NDISWC
WWCC
A valid driver's licence, Comprehensive Car insurance and access to reliable transportation
