About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Grinder / Finisher to join their team. This hands-on role involves working across a variety of residential, commercial, and structural projects throughout the Sydney metropolitan area.
You will be responsible for restoring, grinding, sanding, and refinishing steel surfaces to a high standard, helping to bring structural steelwork and stainless-steel surfaces back to excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities
Grinding and finishing structural steel, posts, handrails, and other steel components
Sanding stainless steel surfaces to remove scratches, graffiti, and imperfections.
Grinding and cleaning welds to achieve a quality finish
Preparing steel surfaces for touch-up painting and refinishing.
Manually applying paint and touch-ups using a brush to restore and protect steel surfaces.
Working on residential homes, commercial buildings, verandas, and other construction projects.
Using power tools and equipment supplied by the client
Travelling to various job sites across Sydney Metro as required.

About You
Previous experience as a Grinder,



Finisher, Trade Assistant, Metal Worker, or similar.
Confident using grinders, sanders, and related hand and power tools.
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
White Card preferred.
Driver's licence and reliable transport highly regarded.

What's on Offer
Competitive casual rate of $42 - $45 per hour + Super
Monday to Friday, Day shift.
