We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our Business Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Australian public practice experience who is looking to continue developing their accounting and taxation career in a supportive and qualified workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements and income tax returns
Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT returns
Prepare journals, reconciliations and working papers
Liaise with clients and the ATO
Assist with tax planning and compliance matters
Ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with an Accounting major
2+ years' experience in Australian public accounting
Currently studying towards, partially completed, or completed CA/CPA
Strong understanding of Australian taxation and accounting principles
Experience with Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks is highly regarded
Excellent communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail
