At least one year of relevant work experience, along with a Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, is required.

Job Description

· Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes for a full-service restaurant/Café in accordance with established recipes and service standards

· Monitoring food quality, portion control, and presentation during all stages of preparation and service

· Maintaining consistency in portion control and presentation

· Operating and regulating kitchen equipment, including ovens and grills,



to ensure correct cooking temperatures

· Seasoning, plating, and finishing dishes with appropriate sauces, garnishes, and accompaniments

· Preparing meals to meet special dietary requirements and customer requests

· Managing storage, rotation, and labelling of food items

· Ensuring protected storage of food in temperature-controlled facilities in line with food safety requirements

· Monitoring stock levels and minimising food wastage

· Assisting with menu planning, food preparation levels, and service coordination

· Supporting and guiding junior kitchen staff during service periods

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
