The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our Emerald workshop team.

In this role, you’ll work on a wide range of construction, earthmoving, and mining equipment—handling diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while supporting high-quality service delivery.

What You’ll Do
Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy equipment
Maintain quality standards across workshop repairs and machine assembly
Support and mentor apprentices
Provide technical input, job estimates, and reports
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work workplace

About You
Relevant trade qualification (Mobile Plant, Diesel Fitter, or similar)




OR Light Vehicle Mechanic looking to transition into heavy machinery
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Previous workshop or mining/construction experience (advantageous)
