We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team supporting participants in the Gold Coast areas.
This is a rewarding role where you will support individuals to live more independently, develop life skills, and participate in their community.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to participants in their homes and within the community. Your role will involve assisting with daily living tasks, encouraging independence, and supporting participants to achieve their individual goals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily living support including personal care where required
Assist with community access and social activities
Support participants with life skills and independence building
Complete accurate shift notes and documentation
Follow individual support plans and behaviour support strategies
Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive workplace
Essential Requirements
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services
Previous experience working in the NDIS sector
