We’re looking for a suitably experienced and/or qualified Cook or Chef to join our team at Sushi Cuckoo in Rockingham, bringing fresh and quality Japanese cuisine to the Rockingham area and surrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

· Preparing and cooking a range of Japanese meals (sushi, rice bowls, bento, curry, yakisoba, udon, ramen etc.), with a focus on quality and consistent preparation and presentation.

· Deep frying, pan/stir frying, rolling sushi and other tasks, preparation of seafood and other meats, requiring robust knife skills and accurately handling multiple orders at once.

· Ability to work independently under pressure, along with cooperating with other kitchen or front of house staff to prioritise the customer experience, addressing customer queries and maintaining service levels across various food platforms and to dine-in guests.





· General pantry/stock control and cleaning duties where required to keep the restaurant operating efficiently.

Previous / similar experience and an interest in Japanese cuisine is ideal.

Employment Type – negotiable - Full Time, Part Time or Casual.

Pay and Conditions - as per the Restaurant Industry Award 2020 and experience/qualification level.

Pay: From $27.08 per hour
