Nightingale Gallery is seeking an ambitious, relationship-driven sales professional to join our growing team.
This is an exciting chance to represent an outstanding cohort of contemporary artists while building lasting relationships with collectors, interior designers, architects and art advisors. Your primary responsibility is to grow artwork sales and expand the gallery’s collector network.
Working closely with the Gallery Director, you will build relationships with new and existing collectors, develop new business opportunities and deliver an exceptional experience to every client who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and nurture relationships with private collectors, interior designers, architects and corporate clients.
Confidently present and sell original artworks.
Proactively generate current sales opportunities through networking, referrals and outreach.
Follow up all enquiries promptly and professionally.
Host private viewings and assist clients in building meaningful art collections.
Represent the gallery during exhibitions, openings and special events.
Maintain client records and assist with inventory management.
Support exhibition installation and ensure the gallery is presented to the highest standard.
Work collaboratively to achieve ambitious sales targets.
We are looking for someone who is confident, personable and genuinely enjoy building relationships. We would like you to have a proven ability to develop trust, understand clients’ needs and convert conversations into sales.
Experience in commercial galleries is highly regarded, but we also welcome applicants with successful backgrounds in luxury retail, interior design, premium furniture, auction houses, jewellery, watches or other high-end client-facing sales.
