Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Estimator to join our team and assist in preparing competitive tenders and quotations for a wide range of projects.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of the estimating process, including:
Reviewing electrical drawings and specifications
Measuring quantities and preparing take-offs
Obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing
Assisting with tender submissions and quotations
Preparing cost estimates and budgets
Liaising with project managers, suppliers, and clients
Maintaining estimating databases and documentation
Supporting the team with project handovers
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be required to have:
Electrical trade qualification or relevant industry experience preferred
Experience in luxury retail and commercial office fitouts
Previous estimating experience advantageous but not essential
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Robust attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication and computer skills
Experience with estimating software (preferred but not essential)
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Current Australian driver's licence
