The Lighthouse Pub is a staple pub in Canberra, operating for over 30 years - and we're looking for hard-working Kitchen Hands to join our back-of-house crew!

About the Role:
As a Kitchen Hand, you'll support the kitchen team with a range of essential tasks to keep everything running smoothly during service. From food prep and cleaning to maintaining a secure and hygienic kitchen, you'll be a key part of our opening team.

Duties will include:
Assisting chefs with basic food prep (washing, chopping, plating)
Keeping dishes, pots, and pans clean and ready to go
Ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and up to health & safety standards
Helping with deliveries, stock rotation, and waste disposal
Working as part of a fast-paced,



friendly kitchen team

We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in hospitality (preferred but not essential)
A positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job
The ability to stay calm under pressure and follow instructions
Reliability, punctuality, and outstanding attention to detail
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
