The McKinnon Hotel is a well-established local favourite, delivering classic pub meals and a welcoming atmosphere to the Southeast community. With a busy front bar, bistro, and year-round functions, we’re looking for a reliable and motivated Section Waiter to join the team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a quick-paced environment and takes pride in delivering solid, consistent service. You’ll be working across the bistro floor and supporting bar operations when required.
What you’ll be doing:
Running a section in the bistro with effective and attentive service
Taking food and beverage orders accurately
Supporting the bar team during peak periods
Assisting with functions and general venue operations
Maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
What we’re looking for:
Previous hospitality experience preferred (minimum 1 year ideal)
Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude
Ability to handle busy service periods without dropping standards
Flexibility to work across both floor and bar
Availability requirements:
Must be available weekends, and Thursdays (essential)
Additional requirements:
Valid working rights in Australia
