The Union Dairy Company has an annual processing capacity of 300 million litres of raw milk and began production in 2017. Located in Penola, South Australia – the purpose-built plant provides a state-of-the-art factory and is the newest of its kind in the southern hemisphere.
About the role:
We have a current vacancy for a motivated and safety focused 1st Year Fitter and Turner to join our team located in Penola, South Australia . In this role, you will be required to work alongside a crew of like-minded tradespeople to deliver maintenance onsite.
You will have constant support from your supervisors whilst you complete your apprenticeship, ensuring you are learning all facets of the trade of Fitter and Turner, reading and interpreting plans, adhering to health & safety requirements, in a great work environment.
About you:
You will be enthusiastic and able to demonstrate a genuine desire to begin career as an Fitter and Turner
A solid communicator who can effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
Willing to learn, carry out instructions, and work effectively in a team setting
Prepared to work safely in a rapid-paced industrial workplace
Willing to undergo our Q Fever vaccination program and drug and alcohol testing
Available for an immediate start
Any pre-apprenticeship training will be viewed favourably
