About Us:

Rak Thai Kitchen has been operating from 2014. The restaurant is situated within the Westridge Shopping Centre on West Street, Kearneys Spring. We offer authentic Thai cuisine available for both Dine in and Take away.

Your Responsibilities:
Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs.
Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients.
Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant's menu and adapt to changes in the menu or special dietary requirements.
Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages, from initial preparation to final presentation and portion control.
Train and supervise kitchen staff, as well as advising on advanced cooking techniques and procedures.
Work with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen workplace.
Always follow food safety and hygiene regulations.




Provide excellent communication with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

Skills & Experience:
At least one year of previous experience as a Chef is required.
Certificate III or Certificate IV qualification in relevant field is preferred.
Robust understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
Passion for cooking and creating delicious meals.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: $79,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
