We are in urgent need of a full time cook with relevant qualifications and experience to join our team in the Love Punjab Indian Restaurant.
We are looking for someone who meets the following expectations:
Preferably an Australian citizen/permanent resident
Possesses a trade certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent
Has at least one year’s experience in preparing Indian cuisine
Familiar with Australian health and safety regulations applicable to the hospitality industry
Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in his/her culinary skills
Able to work and adapt well with the kitchen staff
Has a passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand
Be available for work on most days, including weekends
Be able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies
Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained
Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure
Be a team player and has long-term intention to work with us
