High-Needs Support Worker (Female) | Private Home | Casual

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable female support worker to join a small, family-oriented team providing high-needs care for a young adult with a complex physical disability. Critical Requirements:
You must have fluent spoken and written English. This is essential for reading, understanding, and strictly following complex policy documents and care instructions.
We require someone who will prioritise this role. Consistent attendance and punctuality are required to ensure the safety and stability of care.
The ability to listen intently and follow specific directions accurately is vital.
This role is physically demanding. You must be solid and capable of performing manual handling and high-needs physical support.
A relaxed, patient approach is essential. You must be able to remain composed and respond with empathy in all situations.
You must be able to read moods and anticipate needs before they escalate.
You must be trustworthy, kind, and patient at all times.




You bring a positive, fun energy to the home and are self-motivated to find ways to make the day-to-day engaging.
You have an inspiring outlook and a genuine desire to support a young adult in living their best life.
Certificate III or higher in disability support or a nursing related course
Training in Dysphagia, Seizure management, Wound Care, Medication etc.

Role Details:
Afternoon and weekend shifts are required. Availability Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Must be available to work October and November, and be available for training prior.
All relevant disability background checks and clearances are mandatory.
