About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Truck Delivery Driver to join our team delivering building supplies to residential and commercial construction sites across Melbourne.
This is a hands-on role that combines secure driving with excellent customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while representing our business professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver building materials to customers throughout metropolitan Melbourne.
Safely load, secure, transport, and unload building supplies.
Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in accordance with delivery schedules.
Complete delivery paperwork and use electronic delivery systems as required.
Communicate effectively with customers, warehouse staff, and dispatch.
Follow all road safety regulations and workplace health and safety procedures.
Assist in the warehouse with loading and general duties when required.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence.
Clean driving record.
Experience driving MR trucks.
Valuable knowledge of Melbourne roads and suburbs.
Strong commitment to safety and safe manual handling practices.
Ability to lift and handle building materials.
Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
