An exciting opportunity is available for an Operations Manager to join a well-established, recently refurbished hospitality venue in Penrith.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a busy pub setting, offering genuine career progression, a supportive ownership team, and the chance to make a real impact on the day-to-day operation of the business.
About the Venue
This high-volume venue operates across multiple service areas, including:
Busy Front Bar
Bistro with full table service
Beer Garden
Gaming Lounge (16 machines)
TAB and Keno facilities
About the Role
We're looking for a Operation manager who enjoys leading from the front. You'll spend most of your time on the floor supporting the team, delivering exceptional customer service, coaching staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Some administrative duties that include daily reporting, rostering, cost control, cash handling and assisting with general operational tasks.
What You'll Bring
Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Venue Manager or Operations Manager within a pub, hotel or club environment
Current NSW RSA (essential)
Current NSW RCG (essential)
Experience managing gaming operations, including pokies machines, TAB and Keno and understanding of AML ( process and procedures )
Strong leadership and communication skills
A hands-on management style with a passion for developing people
Ability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and late-night shifts
