We are currently seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer to join a busy industrial galvanizing plant. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable working in a rapid-paced, heavy industry environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation and handling of steel products for the galvanizing process
Loading and unloading materials onto racks and production lines
Manual handling and heavy lifting of steel components
Supporting the galvanizing process, including dipping, inspection, and finishing tasks
General plant housekeeping to maintain a secure and clean work workplace
Following safety procedures and working effectively within a team
Requirements:
Previous experience in manufacturing, steel, or industrial environments highly regarded
Comfortable with repetitive manual handling and physically demanding work
Ability to work in hot conditions and around industrial equipment
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
Forklift licence (LF) – desirable but not essential
Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
