Catering Project are looking for a casual Chef with experience in production kitchen/ Sandwich Hands.

Reporting to the section head this role is a casual role based at our production kitchen in Glebe NSW 2037.

What you'll be doing
Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and other cold meal items to meet customer orders.
Ensure all food preparation and presentation meets strict quality and food safety standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to identify process improvements and implement efficiencies.
Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to junior sandwich hands.
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked sandwich preparation area.

What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience as a sandwich hand or similar food preparation role in a commercial kitchen environment.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality and safety standards.




Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing customer demands.
Positive communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team.
Knowledge of food handling and food safety regulations.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and take on current responsibilities.
Able to work the shift from 2:30pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Sunday.
