Description:
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and resourceful Heavy Duty Fitter to join our team on site at Woodie Woodie.

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, the successful applicants will be required to:
Conduct maintenance activities to the mining and support vehicle fleet, consisting predominantly of Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.
Apply OEM maintenance practices, procedures and information to required maintenance activities.
Conducting workshop maintenance and maintaining high housekeeping standards in work areas.
Diagnosing and repairing machines/equipment in both a workshop and field workplace.
Diagnose and repair electrical systems when required.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Minimum C class drivers’ licence
Current National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months)




Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate
Ability to understand and interpret OEM manuals and hydraulic/ pneumatic
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Product knowledge of Caterpillar (6020B, D10T, 16M & 777G) and Komatsu (PC1250, PC2000) equipment
Robust commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures
Excellent organisational and communication skills
