As our workload continues to grow, we’re seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team and contribute to complex, high‑precision work across a wide range of materials and industries.

Role Overview
You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes and mills. Our work ranges from small precision components to very large industrial parts, with wide-ranging materials and mixed production quantities.
Key Responsibilities
Program CNC machines (Fanuc, Heidenhain)
Set up machines, select tooling, optimise cutting strategies
Interpret detailed technical drawings and tolerances
Correctly choose and install chucks, jaws, fixtures, and workholding to suit each job
Load and secure components safely and accurately before machining
Machine components to high accuracy across varied materials
Perform in‑process inspection and maintain quality standards
Troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes
Work collaboratively with production and operations staff
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a CNC machinist and programmer
Robust understanding of machining principles and best practices
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Experience with one‑off and small‑batch precision work
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Able to work autonomously in a busy workshop
Forklift or overhead crane experience (advantageous)
