Tasks & responsibilities
Site Set up and preparation for membrane installation / Painting
Preparing surfaces including placing drop sheets and removing existing paint /wallpaper
Erecting scaffolding and ladders
Fixing woodwork / Concrete repairs, filling holes and cracks
Smoothing and sealing surfaces
Working with chemicals such as solvents, oil, paints, thinners and additives
Selecting and preparing paints and materials
Cleaning work areas and equipment
Working in both Team and individual settings
Picking up and dropping material from one site to another
Learn and / or excel in waterproofing application in the following systems: Painting |Sheet | Liquid | PVC | Torch on
May repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames
Qualifications & experience
Valid White Card
Drivers Licence and own vehicle
Painting skills
Desirable Cert III in Painting and Decorating
General Construction experience is preferred
At least 1 Year of work experience is preferred; General Construction workexperience may be considered
Fully competent in use of basic hand / power tools
Must have high standards in time management | attention to detail | Punctuality |Communication | Pride and work ethic
