We are seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our Accounts Receivable team at Icon Group in South Brisbane. This is an inbound customer focused role that combines strong communication skills with accurate administration, rather than a traditional collections or debt recovery position. No sales calls and no cold-calls either!

About the role
You will be the first point of contact for billing and payment enquiries, delivering skilled, responsive service while supporting accurate and timely accounts receivable outcomes. This is a 12-month contract position working full-time hours Monday to Friday.

What you will do
Respond to a high volume of inbound phone and email enquiries with a first contact resolution mindset (up to 100 calls a day in our busy periods)
Resolve invoice and payment queries clearly and professionally
Maintain accurate customer and payment records across AR systems
Build trusted relationships with internal teams and external customers
Handle sensitive conversations with care, integrity and confidence




Contribute to continuous improvement and a positive team culture

What you will bring
Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
Experience in administration, customer service or finance support roles
Confidence handling sensitive or complex customer enquiries
Solid computer skills and attention to detail
A team-oriented mindset aligned to Icon’s values of Connect, Nurture and On-Purpose
Prior experience working in an inbound customer service workplace, or prior healthcare industry experience, would be beneficial, but not compulsory
