Favourhill Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Male Disability Support Worker to support a 15-year-old participant in Yarrabilba.

This is an chance to build a genuine, long-term relationship with a young person who thrives with consistency and structured support.

About the Participant

The participant is a 15-year-old male with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 3)
Severe Intellectual Disability
ADHD

He enjoys cooking, perks from routine, and responds well to patient, relationship-based support.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:
Providing engaging 1:1 community and in-home support
Assisting with cooking and structured activities
Attending speech therapy telehealth sessions
Supporting the implementation of therapy strategies
Building a positive, trusting relationship with the participant

There is also the chance to support his 17-year-old brother (ASD Level 2) in the future if a good rapport is established.

About You

We're looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting participants with Autism and complex support needs
Is patient, calm, and engaging
Can provide consistent, long-term support
Values person-centred, relationship-based care
Is reliable and committed to making a positive impact

Essential Requirements
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
Comprehensive Car Insurance
Right to work in Australia
