We’re on the hunt for 2 passionate and reliable kitchen team member to join our team at The Arc at Nobby’s – a buzzing local spot in the heart of Nobby Beach. We’re all about good vibes, excellent food, and keeping that true locals’ feel alive. We’re looking for a full time chef.

About Us

The Arc is open from sunrise to midnight, 7 days a week, serving up everything from early-morning breakfasts to late-night pizzas and wings. With a fun, casual, and community-driven atmosphere, we pride ourselves on being a go-to hangout for locals and visitors alike.

The Role - breakfast chef

We’re looking for a chef to cover breakfast shifts (5.30am – 12pm)

The Role - pizza cook

We’re looking for a cook to cover Lunch and dinner shifts (12pm – 8.30pm) across the week.
Versatile, relaxed roster that fits around your lifestyle.
Work in a supportive team that values creativity and consistency.

The position requires the following skills:
*Preparing and cooking food on high standard as requiere.
*Planning and creating menus, estimating food and labour costs, ordering weekly supplies for our venues.
*Supervising quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation before comes to the customer.
*Communicating food preparation issues with Managers, kitchen and Floor staff.




*Assisting on Staff Training and Hiring Process.
*High Skills on Health and Safety,Hygiene and Sanitary Practices.
*Demonstrates preparation techniques to cooks and advises on proper cooking procedures

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of experience, with trade qualifications in cookery. We are looking for someone who is also passionate and kind and has no trouble working in a team.

Experience in a fast-paced kitchen (breakfast and/ or pizza experience essential).
A team player who can keep cool under pressure.
Someone reliable, with great energy, who fits into The Arc’s fun, casual vibe.
Ability to work independently during quieter shifts.
