Aertex Group is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. This full time position is an essential role within our organisation, responsible for carrying out high-quality welding work across a range of projects.
What you'll be doing
Performing welding tasks to a high standard, adhering to safety protocols and technical specifications
Interpreting blueprints, diagrams and work instructions to complete welding work
Operating welding equipment and machinery with a focus on efficiency and productivity
Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless project delivery
Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
Participating in continuous improvement and skills development activities
What we're looking for
Formal qualifications in welding, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
Demonstrable experience as a Welder, preferably within the trades and services industry
Robust technical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Robust safety focus and willingness to adhere to all relevant regulations and procedures
