Our local family fruit and vegetable shop is looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Shop Assistant. The role is mainly focused on serving customers at the register and maintaining product quality.
You will be working in a family environment.
Main Responsibilities
Operating the POS register and processing customer payments
Providing friendly and productive customer service
Checking expiry dates and product freshness
Removing or reporting products that are not up to standard
Keeping the counter and shop area clean and organised
Requirements
Previous customer service or cashier experience is a must.
Friendly attitude and positive communication skills
Attention to detail when checking product quality
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Job Details
Mainly Morning Shifts (7am - 1.30pm)
At least 3 days a week
