About the Role
We are seeking qualified and experienced Bricklayers to join our full time team in Perth. You will play a key role in the delivery of residential construction projects, using your trade expertise to ensure a high standard of workmanship across all bricklaying and masonry tasks.

Key Responsibilities

· Lay bricks, blocks, and stone to construct or repair walls, arches, partitions, and paved areas

· Interpret technical plans and specifications to guide work

· Perform structural repairs and restoration as required

· Apply mortar and moisture-resistant coatings, and prepare sublayers for block placement

· Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently

· Install interlocking pavers and construct surface finishes

· Build and dismantle low-level scaffolds within safety limits

· Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth project execution

· Supervise apprentices and less experienced staff, providing mentoring and training

· Oversee project progress to ensure delivery within timelines, budget, and quality standards

· Manage in office compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards





· Plan materials, perform take-offs, and manage deliveries and site logistics

· Identify and resolve site issues in real-time

· Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work workplace

Skills & Attributes

· Trade-qualified with minimum 3 years of bricklaying/blocklaying experience (5+ years preferred)

· Proven ability to work independently and supervise a team

· Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills

· Strong understanding of building codes, construction standards, and plan interpretation

· Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety

· Effective communication and leadership capabilities

· Current driver’s licence

· Additional trade/machine tickets (e.g. working at heights, white card) are an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,000.00 – $102,000.00 per year
