Porta Products are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Planner with Mechanical experience to join our team at our Oberon Manufacturing facility.
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for preparing all planned work orders, obtaining the required parts and materials, and generating a schedule to perform required planned maintenance activities. The Maintenance Planner will be in charge of day to-day planning including scheduling and coordination on the day.
The Maintenance Planner will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of our Mainpac software system. The incumbent will need to build and maintain close working relationships with all production departments and site management in order to effectively coordinate planned maintenance activities for the site.
To be considered for this position you will have:
At least 2 years experience in a Maintenance Planner role within the manufacturing setting
Demonstrated Mechanical experience preferred.
A high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated maintenance planning and organizing skills.
Extensive experience monitoring and producing maintenance schedules incorporating maintenance hours, service estimates and component replacement.
Computer literate and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems and electronic data maintenance systems – Mainpac preferred.
Relevant qualifications in an appropriate engineering discipline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to build solid relationships across different departments within the company.
