As part of our growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team and contribute to our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements and management reports for a range of business clients.
Analyse financial information and provide insights to support business decision-making.
Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting and cash flow analysis.
Prepare and lodge BAS, GST and other tax obligations in accordance with ATO requirements.
Assist with the preparation of tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts.
Ensure financial records and reports comply with Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards.
Liaise with clients, the ATO and external advisers regarding accounting and taxation matters.
Manage and oversee payroll processes for clients, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, superannuation and employee entitlements.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
