Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse Storeperson to support our daily warehouse operations which include picking and packing of orders and, receiving deliveries, customer support and maintaining a protected workspace.
Responsibilities:
Picking and packing of customer orders in a time-effective manner
Receive incoming goods, verifying the accuracy of the shipment against the purchase order
Store goods in the appropriate location, ensuring that they are easily accessible
Operate forklift to move and store goods
Provide a high level of customer service at the Trade counter
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels,
including stock counts and location information
Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring that they are complete and accurate
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse, ensuring that all safety procedures are followed
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse/trade centre desirable
Valid forklifts licence
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic computer skills
