Step Into a Leadership Role – Chef Manager

Location: St Barts, East Perth WA
Roster: Monday to Friday | 40 hrs/week
Salary: Circa $79,499 - $90,000

Ready to lead your own kitchen? We're looking for an experienced Chef Manager to oversee kitchen operations at our East Perth aged care site. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a trade-qualified chef with experience in high-volume bulk cooking and a passion for delivering quality meals that support resident wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a small kitchen team
Manage high-volume meal production, including texture modified meals
Plan seasonal menus that meet dietary and resident needs
Oversee ordering, stock, budgets and rostering
Maintain food safety and Aged Care Quality Standards
Build positive relationships with residents, families and care staff

Skills and Experiences:
About You




Trade-qualified Chef with Food Safety Supervisor certification
Experience in bulk cooking and texture modified meals
Knowledge of IDDSI standards and modified diets
Aged care or healthcare experience (preferred)
Robust leadership, communication and organisational skills
