Key Responsibilities:
Interpret building plans, drawings, and specifications
Measure, cut and assemble materials with precision
Plan work to meet timelines and project requirements
Construct, install, and repair frameworks, flooring systems, walls, roofs, and partitions
Assemble and install building components using timber and other materials
Carry out general carpentry tasks across residential and commercial projects
Assist in the construction, erection, and dismantling of formwork for concrete structures
Set out and erect timber and lightweight steel wall, floor and roof framing systems
Install structural bracing and support systems in accordance with engineering specifications
Work on Suspended formwork systems (e.g. decks, beams, elevated slabs)
Work on on-ground (level/slab-on-grade) formwork, including footings and edge forms
Interpret drawings and follow specifications for formwork layout
Support accurate alignment, bracing, and structural integrity of formwork
Coordinate with concreters and steel fixers during placement activities
Install windows, doors, cabinetry, and internal/external fittings
Deliver quality finishes in accordance with company standards
Perform repair, refurbishment, and alteration work
Maintain structural and non-structural building elements
Follow all WHS policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with Australian Building Codes and standards
Use tools and equipment safely and effectively
Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades
Assist and mentor apprentices when required
