General Maintenance Person – Full Time
Location: Kalorama (Motel & Conference Centre)

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on General Maintenance Person to join our team at a well-established Motel and Conference Centre set on 10 acres of landscaped grounds in Kalorama.

This is a full-time position suited to someone with a practical background and a solid work ethic who enjoys variety and working as part of a team.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the property, ensuring facilities, rooms, and grounds are maintained to a high standard for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
General building and property maintenance
Minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work (where qualified/experienced)
Grounds and external maintenance
Preventative maintenance and repairs
Assisting with room turnarounds and conference setup as required
Working collaboratively with management and other staff

About You:




Previous experience in maintenance, trade, or a hands-on role
Background or skills in carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work highly regarded
Practical, self-motivated, and solution-focused
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and well presented

Requirements:
Current driver’s licence
Own reliable vehicle
Physically capable of hands-on work
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
