Registered Nurse – General Practice (Permanent Part time)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive General Practice team on a permanent part-time basis, working 2–3 days per week.
As a Registered Nurse within our practice, you will play a key role in providing compassionate, patient-centred care while working alongside our doctors and healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and health education
Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and general patient care
Administering medications and vaccines in accordance with practice protocols
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
Triaging patient phone calls and managing patient enquiries
Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to coordinate patient care
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and professional standards
Key Requirements
Bachelor of Nursing degree (essential)
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Previous General Practice experience preferred but not essential
Strong clinical assessment and nursing care skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in clinical software and electronic medical record systems
Commitment to continuous learning and career development
