We are seeking a friendly and professional Gym Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for members and visitors, you will help create a welcoming environment while supporting the day-to-day operations of the club.
This role is ideal for someone with solid customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, and an interest in health and fitness.
Key Responsibilities
Greet members and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Answer phone calls, emails, and general enquiries
Assist with membership enquiries and club tours
Process memberships and maintain accurate member records
Manage reception and administrative tasks
Support the cleanliness and presentation of the club
Promote club services, programs, and events
Assist with member retention and engagement activities
Skills and Experience
Previous customer service or reception experience preferred
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Good computer and administrative skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
Passion for delivering excellent customer service
Interest in health and fitness is advantageous
Requirements
Availability to work adaptable schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends,
and public holidays as required
Right to work in Australia
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) may be advantageous
