We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented NDIS Cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning services to clients living with a disability in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This role involves working in private homes or supported accommodation to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic setting that supports client well-being and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and other living areas as required.
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to company procedures.
Follow personalized cleaning plans based on each client’s needs and preferences.
Respect client privacy, dignity, and cultural values.
Communicate clearly with clients, support workers, and supervisors.
Report any health or safety hazards, incidents, or changes in client condition.
Maintain accurate records of services provided (e.g., timesheets, service logs).
Requirements
Experience in domestic or commercial cleaning (NDIS experience preferred).
Need to bring own cleaning equipment to each shift.
Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and infection control.
Current National Police Check.
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Working with Children Check.
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

First Aid Certificate.
Previous experience working with people with disability.
