Key Responsibilities,
Prepare and cook café-style meals, snacks, and daily specials.
Assist with menu planning and contribute new ideas for food presentation.
Ensure food quality, portion control, and consistency.
Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards.
Manage stock rotation, ordering, and minimising wastage.
Support and train junior staff where needed.
Assist in front-of-house during peak times (if required).
Skills & Requirements
Previous experience as a café chef, cook, or all-rounder.
Robust knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team workplace.
Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
Positive attitude and passion for good food and customer service.
Job Type: Part time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
