Alpha Fresh is Canberra's leading wholesale food supplier, delivering premium fruit & veg, meat, poultry, and seafood daily to the hospitality industry. Based in Hume & Fyshwick, we're a rapid-growing business with a robust reputation for quality and reliability.

We've recently launched a commercial prep kitchen - a dedicated production space for pre-prepared vegetables, pre-cooked meats, and ready-made meals for our wholesale and retail customers. This is a warehouse-based, production-driven environment, not to be confused with a traditional cafe or restaurant kitchen.

We're now on the lookout for reliable, motivated people to join our team as Kitchen Prep / Labourers and help support this exciting new area of the business.

Your role will include:
Packing, slicing, dicing, and mincing fresh produce and meats (both by hand and using machines)
Operating commercial machinery such as mincers and cryovac (vac-pack) machines
Unloading deliveries and rotating stock to maintain freshness and quality
Cleaning and sanitising equipment, machinery, and work areas
Helping keep the warehouse and prep areas clean, organised, and safe

What we're looking for:




A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Reliability and the ability to keep pace in a busy production environment
Comfortable working with machinery and on your feet (full training provided)
Previous kitchen, food prep, or warehouse experience is ideal but not essential

Shifts available:

We have early morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available
