ANDS is looking for compassionate, reliable and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. We provide person-centred support to NDIS participants across Melbourne, including complex and forensic support settings.

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide daily support to participants in line with their individual goals, care plans and needs.
Supports may include:
Assisting with daily living activities
Community access and social support
Personal care support
Transport to appointments and activities
Medication assistance
Supporting participants to build independence and life skills
Accurate shift note documentation and reporting
Supporting participants with complex behaviours when required
Shifts may include:
Day shifts
Afternoon shifts
Overnight/sleepover shifts
Weekend work

Comfortable working in challenging environments
Committed to participant dignity, choice and safety
Essential Requirements
Certificate III or IV in Disability/Aged Care
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (preferred)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
Smartphone with the ability to complete digital shift notes
Full Australian working rights
Experience within the disability sector is preferred.
