Now Careers is currently seeking experienced and reliable Machine Operators to join a leading steel reinforcement manufacturing facility. We have multiple opportunities available across day, afternoon, and night shifts, with ongoing work and the potential for permanent employment.
About the Role as a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating steel reinforcement manufacturing machinery, handling materials safely, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities Operating machinery including MEP, Schnell, Robomaster, KRB, Shilt, Shearline and Pedax cutters
Operating overhead gantry cranes to load and unload steel products and machinery
Conducting pre-start checks on equipment and machinery before operation
Reading and interpreting delivery sheets and production requirements
Preparing loads and ensuring large or long bundles are loaded first where required
Maintaining a safe and clean work workplace
Following site safety procedures and company policies

Requirements
Previous machine operation experience within manufacturing, steel, construction, or a similar industrial environment
Overhead gantry crane experience highly regarded
Ability to work in a rapid-paced production environment
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Reliable transport and strong attendance record
Forklift licence (beneficial but not essential)
