We are seeking an experienced and skilled Barista to join our team in a full time permanent basis. This role is suitable for candidates with advanced espresso knowledge and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

As a barista at La Pause Miam, you will be responsible for delivering high quality coffee and beverages while ensuring smooth daily operations. You will play a key role in maintaining our service standards and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
Prepare and serve high-quality espresso beverages to consistent standards
Operate and maintain commercial espresso machines and grinders
Dial in coffee daily and manage extraction consistency




Train junior staff in coffee preparation and workflow efficiency
Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk and bar supplies
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Provide professional customer service in a high-volume environment
Assist with opening and closing procedures

About you
Proven experience as a barista in a busy cafe environment
Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and coffee preparation techniques
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced setting
Reliable, punctual and team orientated
Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
