Restaurant manager – High end European Wine Bar & Restaurant

Located in one of the trendiest laneways of the Eastern Suburbs, Bay Street Wine Bar Operations Pty Ltd t/a Bibo is searching for a solid restaurant manager to join our incredibly talented and strong team on a full time basis. With our floor staff having worked for some of Sydney’s top restaurant, high the level of service and extensive knowledge are required.
Designed to have a chilled-out ambience and a relaxed feel to dining, this European venue is stocked with some of the best wines in town and a regular for locals and corporates who enjoy a fine dining experience in a casual setting. The atmosphere can be quiet and intimate during the week and then bustling, loud and fun on busy Friday nights. It really caters for everyone.
The food is bold and of a high quality with a robust French base but inspiration from Portugual. The menu showcases classic flavours and seasonal produce, letting the ingredients speak for themselves.
The position is for a full time restaurant manger and will include the following tasks:
Updated the menu with the chefs




Ordering and pricing of the beverage program with the sommelier
Take reservations, organize and run functions, events and a la carte services
Rostering, training and supervising the staff
Conferring with costumers to asses their satisfaction with meals and service
Ensuring dining facilities comply with health and safety regulation.

The ideal candidate will have:
· at least two (2) years relevant work experience as a manager
· a fine dining or hatted background
· a passion for service and customers.
· knowledge about wine from around the world (especially French and Australian), bar knowledge, and management skills.
The salary being offered is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 plus superannuation. It is a full time position.
