Metal Fabricator

Balustrade Concepts is looking for an experienced full time Metal Fabricator (at least 38 hours per week) to join the team.

Duties to be performed:

· Measuring, cutting, and shaping metal components according to technical drawings and specifications to create balustrades and other related metalwork.

· Aligning and assembling fabricated parts to create finished balustrades, ensuring all components fit together correctly and meet quality standards.

· Assisting with the installation of balustrades on-site, ensuring secure and compliant fittings.

· Joining metal components using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC), bolting, and riveting on different metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel, to produce high-quality joints and structures.

· Inspecting finished products for defects, including examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision, to ensure they meet company standards and client specifications.

· Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, and filing to a high standard prior to dispatch or installation.

· Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure they are in positive working condition.





· Following all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

· Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide the fabrication and installation processes.

· Working closely with other team members, including project supervisors, to ensure project requirements are met.

· Maintaining a secure and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

· Site installation of fabricated metal work.

Requirements:

· Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.

· At least 3 years of experience in the relevant role.

· attention to details, creativity and problem-solving skills.

Position: Full Time (at least 38 hours per week)

Salary: $79,000 – 90,000 depending on experience

Location: 7 Bombardier Rd, Wangara WA 6065
