Metro Utilities on-going commitment to the Gas Industry means we continue to grow. Working as part of a Gas Mains Renewal Site Crew, the successful applicant will be required to reinstate all surfaces to their original state once the gas works are complete and excavations are ready for reinstatement. You will need to be organised and productive as you work in as part of the crew.
Duties include:
Paving reinstatements
Concrete reinstatements
Small bitumen reinstatements
Concrete cutting
Reinstatement Prepping
Ordering materials
Working to a schedule
General labouring and site duties as required
The successful applicant may be provided with a ute to assist with duties. Experience in paving, concreting and bitumen works is essential.
Requirements
Excavator licence is desired but may not be essential.
MR truck license essential.
White Card is essential.
Experience in APA Gas Reinstatement works or NBN Reinstatements works may be advantageous.
Experience on APA Sites is preferred but not essential.
