About the Position

Harold Painting & Decorating is seeking an experienced and reliable Painter to join our

team in Brisbane, Queensland. This is a full-time, permanent position offering ongoing

work across residential and commercial painting projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, filling holes and cracks, and applying

primers.
Apply paints, varnishes, stains and other finishes using brushes, rollers and spray

equipment.
Mix and match paints to achieve required colours and finishes.
Protect surrounding areas using drop sheets and masking materials.
Erect and work safely on ladders and scaffolding where required.
Carry out interior and exterior painting work to a high standard.
Maintain tools, equipment and a safe work workplace.
Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety requirements.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required




Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent trade qualification.
Minimum of two years of relevant work experience as a Painter.
Robust knowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valuable attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Valid driver's licence preferred.

Annual Earnings

AUD $75000– $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and

experience.
