Harcourts Hospitality Ventures Pty Ltd is seeking passionate, reliable, and motivated hospitality professionals to join our team for the launch of an exciting upmarket destination café and bar with seated dining.We are currently recruiting for the following positions, with a strong emphasis on securing an experienced and talented Baker Chef.BAKER CHEF (PRIORITY ROLE)We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Baker Chef with a genuine passion for quality food, baking, presentation, and consistency.This is a key role within our business and would suit someone who takes pride in producing premium café-style food and freshly baked products to a high standard.Key Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years’ hospitality industry experience
Robust experience in preparing cabinet-style café food, including:
Pies
Sausage Rolls
Muffins
Slices
Danish Pastries
Cakes and baked goods
Sandwiches and grab-and-go items
Similar premium café products





Baking Experience EssentialCandidates should also have solid experience in baking a variety of fresh breads, including:
Sourdough
Vienna loaves
Bread rolls
Buns
Artisan breads
Specialty bakery items

Experience in dough preparation, proofing, baking techniques, and maintaining consistency in daily production will be highly regarded.
Exposure to à la carte café menu preparation is also essential
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance
Ability to maintain consistency, speed, and presentation under pressure
Strong time management and organisational skills
Positive attitude with robust team-oriented work ethic
